How We Write

Here’s what we follow for every article on this site, so you know exactly where the information comes from.

Our sources, in this order

  • IRDAI (irdai.gov.in, policyholder.gov.in, Bima Bharosa)
  • Official government scheme websites (e.g. pmjay.gov.in, jansuraksha.gov.in, pmfby.gov.in, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana government department sites)
  • The insurer’s own official brochure, policy wording, or Customer Information Sheet — always quoted with the plan’s UIN
  • News reports — only to learn “what changed”; we always confirm with an official source before stating it as fact

We never use aggregator or sales sites like Policybazaar or InsuranceDekho as a source of facts — they exist to sell something, which isn’t what we do.

When something isn’t confirmed

If an official source isn’t clear about a scheme or plan’s status, we don’t state it as fact. We say so directly in the article — “not yet officially announced” — rather than guess.

How often we re-check

Articles about government schemes are re-checked every few weeks, since rules and coverage for these schemes change often. When something changes, we update the “last updated” date on the article and show what changed.

Approval before publishing

Every article on this site is personally read and approved by Pradeep before publishing. Nothing goes live without that approval.

What we don’t do

  • We never call any policy “best” or “top”, and we never recommend one.
  • We don’t compare or rank companies or plans against each other.
  • We don’t write fear-based or emotional stories — just calm, clear information.
