Why this site?
Almost every family needs insurance at some point. Whether you work for daily wages, hold a job, farm your land or run a small shop, a sudden illness or an accident can happen to anyone. When it does, insurance is what helps a family stay on its feet.
But look around. Very few people actually understand insurance and buy a policy knowing what they’re getting. It’s mostly the better-educated who do. Everyone else needs it too. What’s missing is someone explaining it clearly and simply.
For most people, the first time they hear about insurance is from someone selling it. Some agents genuinely try to help. But often the whole conversation is about closing that one sale, with a bit of pressure thrown in. Instead of feeling confident, people walk away more worried: “Do I really need this? Am I being cheated?”
Figuring it out on your own isn’t easy either. There are hundreds of policies out there, and they keep changing. New ones launch, old ones are withdrawn, rules get updated. Keeping up with all of it feels like studying a whole new subject. Then there’s the jargon: premium, sum assured, waiting period. Between work and family, who has the time or patience? So most people say “I’ll look into it later,” or sign without really understanding what they’ve signed.

What we do
You shouldn’t have to study insurance like a school subject. We do that hard part for you. We read IRDAI’s material, government scheme websites and insurers’ official documents, then explain what you need to know in plain language with simple examples. We link the official source every time. We also:
- clear up common myths and show you what’s actually true,
- explain the jargon in everyday words,
- give you a list of things to check in any policy, so you can understand it yourself instead of relying on anyone’s sales pitch.
What we don’t do
We’re not here to get you to buy insurance. Whether you buy a policy, and which one, is entirely your personal decision. We stay out of it.

- We never ask for your phone number. No one from this site will ever call you.
