Why I write about insurance
Very few people around us really understand insurance before they buy a policy. For most, the first contact with insurance is through someone selling it, which leaves suspicion rather than trust. Trying to learn it yourself isn’t easy either — there are hundreds of policies in the market, the rules keep changing, and the terms are confusing. It felt like studying an entire subject from scratch. I went through that struggle myself, and I know plenty of others feel the same way. That’s why I started this site — to take what I’ve read and understood the hard way, and explain it simply in our own Telugu (and now in plain English too).
How I check facts
Every piece of information on this site comes from IRDAI (irdai.gov.in, policyholder.gov.in), official government scheme websites (such as pmjay.gov.in, jansuraksha.gov.in), or the insurer’s own official brochure or policy document. I don’t use aggregator or sales sites (like Policybazaar) as a source of facts. If something isn’t officially confirmed, I don’t publish it. I personally read and approve every article before it goes live.
